Now the 2020 NFL schedule has been released, we’re giving you the best and worst NFL games for you to watch from week 1 to 17!
Best NFL games to watch in 2020
Texans at Chiefs, Week 1
The season opener should be a good one, a rivalry forged from the Texans embarrassing playoff collapse against the Chiefs in 2019. We also get to see a new look Texans team and two of the best young QBs in the league.
Buccaneers vs Saints, Week 1 and Week 9
Both of these games will be must-watch TV, with two all-time great QBs and two of the best rosters in the league it should be a thrilling rivalry. Either of these teams could win the Super Bowl and that second game is a Monday night matchup.
Niners at Patriots, Week 7
This Sunday night matchup could be a good one with Garroppolo returning to a Bradyless New England. Will the Patriots defence return to its historically elite form and will Stidham be able to keep pace with the surging 49ers?
Steelers vs Browns, Week 6 and Week 17
After what happened in 2019 with Myles Garrett, this already strong rivalry could shift into another gear. With Roethlisberger coming back and a Browns team looking ready to compete, these games should be Can’t-miss TV.
Seahawks vs 49ers, Week 8 and Week 17
Another classic rivalry between two of the top teams in the NFL, these games are always close and they produce some of the best games of the year. That week 17 could prove crucial for playoff implications.
Worst NFL games to tune into for 2020
Chargers at Raiders, Week 15
Could be a pointless game if the Chargers can’t be competitive with Tyrod Taylor or Justin Herbert. It could also be a rough first season in the desert for Gruden and the Raiders. If you’re in Vegas you might get cheap tickets.
Lions at Jaguars, Week 5
The worst team vs the second-worst team in my opinion. A lot of holes on both rosters and I really don’t care about either franchise. I don’t think it’ll be exciting but it could be a high scorer with these defences.
Jets at Bills, Week 1
These Jets v Bills games always seem to be the most mundane, uninteresting games on the calendar so I think it’ll happen again in week 1. Darnold might not have mono but he has Adam Gase which is worse and the Bills are a regression candidate.
Panthers at Redskins, Week 16
Another matchup of two teams that no one should care about in the 2020 season. There are still massive rebuilding efforts for both franchises although they have some great talent that is fun to watch.
Giants at Bears, Week 2
I don’t know a single person excited to watch these teams. The Bears doubled down on sub-par QB play by bringing in Foles and the Giants will be the 25th best team in the NFL, at best.
