Katherine Jenkins & Marisha Wallace To Perform UK & US National Anthems

British rapper Aitch will bring an extra layer of excitement to the NFL London Games when he performs the halftime show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (October 6).

The Manchester-born artist will take to the stage as the Atlanta Falcons host the New York Jets (kickoff 2:30 p.m. UK). The game is the first of two in London this year at Tottenham Hotspur’s state-of-the-art stadium, which was purpose-built to host NFL games.

“We’ve been working hard to make our return to London spectacular,” said NFL Head of Europe and UK Brett Gosper. “It was important for us to give our fans the kind of high-level entertainment experience for which NFL games are known and we believe Aitch will be the perfect artist to entertain our fans during what is set to be a thrilling halftime show.”

Aitch, who has been performing since 2016, made his mark on the UK music scene in 2019 with his hit single “Taste (Make It Shake)”, which reached number two in the UK charts. On Sunday he will be performing his summer release “Learning Curve:, as well as “GSD” and “Safe to Say”.

As part of the pre-game ceremonies, opera singer Katherine Jenkins OBE will be joined by participants from Sky Arts’ “Anyone Can Sing” to perform the UK national anthem and they will be followed by West End Star Marisha Wallace, who will sing the US national anthem.

The Falcons-Jets game will air live on Sky Sports NFL in the UK, with highlights on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, and on NFL Network in the US.

The London Games series continues on October 17, when the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Miami Dolphins at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
