My Tips This Week

Tip 1: Philadelphia Eagles VS Houston Texans – 23rd December 2018

Lose!

Houston to win

Odds 2.05
Stake £1.00
Returns £2.05
Profit / Loss £-1.00

Houston here are the underdogs, and as a Patriots fan I would love to see them lose so the Pats can try and get the #2 seed, but I think they win this game. They’re on a roll, and whilst the Eagles have just beaten the Rams, I think the Texans could take this one. If they’re ahead at HT, Bill O’Brien has a 31-1 record in those situations, and don’t count out momentum as a factor, though that could be said for both sides. Either way, this should be a close game, but the Texans to sneak it.

Tip 2: Cleveland Browns VS Cincinnati Bengals – 23rd December 2018

Lose!

Cleveland Browns -10.0

Odds 1.90
Stake £1.00
Returns £1.90
Profit / Loss £-1.00

Who ever thought that by the end of the season I’d be backing Cleveland to win by over 10 points against an AFC North rival. Well here we are! The Bengals are starting Jeff Driskel and whilst he’s not done a bad job, he’s still not a starting quarterback regularly for a reason. Since Freddie Kitchens has come in at offensive co-ordinator they’ve been a different beast, only taking 5 sacks and hitting open receivers at a high rate, comparable with the Rams and Chiefs, so I reckon they can take this by 10 at least.

Tip 3: Los Angeles Chargers VS Baltimore Ravens – 23rd December 2018

Lose!

LA Chargers -4.0

Odds 1.90
Stake £1.00
Returns £1.90
Profit / Loss £-1.00

Baltimore is going to rely almost exclusively on the run here, and the Chargers have one of the best rushing defences in the league. If they can play well against the running game of Baltimore (which is not a zone run before people tell me that whatever they do they’ll be wrong!). If they play good force, I can’t see Lamar Jackson beating them through the air if they’re in 3rd and long. Anthony Lynn also worked with the Ravens offensive co-ordinator so understands all the run concepts been thrown here with slipping Us amongst other things. Chargers to win and cover.
