Neil ‘Neo’ Edwards steps down as Head Coach of the London Olympians

Neil ‘Neo’ Edwards has release the below statement regarding his sudden decision to step down as Head Coach of the London Olympians.

Edwards is a popular figure in Britball having very successful careers as a Player and, more recently, a Coach.

It is with a very heavy heart that I have decided to step down with immediate effect as Head Coach of the London Olympians.

I have always strived to progress the Team and get players to achieve their full potential, and have thoroughly enjoyed making athletes into football players and football players into athletes.

Although this will be upsetting to a lot of players I feel this is the right time to go (early in pre season) as it enables players to find the best destination for themselves, be it with the Olympians or elsewhere.

I will continue to hopefully be involved with Great Britain as a Coach and will be open to offers from other Football clubs.

I wish to thank everyone that has helped me during my stint as HC of the Olympians, and hope the Club will continue to grow.

Yours Faithfully

Coach Neil (Neo) Edwards
