Uniball Picks – Week 6 Review

Author: Conor Fitzmaurice

Here’s the link to all of this week’s game percentages-

The results for this weeks games, the last set of fixture before the Christmas break, are out, and a lot of them are pretty one sided affairs. Straight off the bat you guys have voted massively in favour of Hertfordshire (80%) against Portsmouth (20%), seems like that one may be all but certain. but despite that huge disparity that isn’t even the biggest vote difference we have this week with Leeds and Loughborough holding an 83% to 17% margin over Tarannau Aberystwyth and Coventry respectively.

Both games in the 1a North have clear favourites both hovering at 65% as Edinburgh Napier and Hull are expected to beat Northumbria and Newcastle respectively. While in the 1a Midlands the NTU Renegades are also huge favourites to roll over the Leicester Longhorns with less than a quarter of you going for the Longhorns.

In Div 2 the Teeside Cougars (78%) are massive favourites against the YSJ Jaguars (22%), while Bradford and Edge Hill could go wither way as you guys are split right down the middle on this one.

Some of the other clear favourites that you guys have selected this week include UEA and Sheffield to win at 73% each, Huddersfield are backed by 76% to take down Lincoln and Chichester look set to take down BNU with 74%of this weeks votes.

All in all you guys have selected some clear favourites this week with some teams seemingly having almost no chance to win. Should be interesting to see how all of this works out and more specifically who gets blown out. Good luck to all of you over the weekend and Merry Christmas to you all!
