Tim Tebow, the greatest quarterback in the history of college football, yesterday announced his retirement from baseball at the age of 33. Tebow had spent several years with the New York Mets minor league affiliates and had been somewhat hampered by injury during his transition to baseball.

Easily my favourite ever player, he was unbelievable in college and in the Urban Meyer system he was great to watch. The tide turned on Tebow once he got to the NFL which was a bit unfair as all the hype around him was generated by the media. I still hold a grudge against John Fox for the god awful offence that he made Super Tim play in instead of adapting it and running more shotgun ready option looks.

I’m holding out hope that he is only doing this because Urban has promised him the starting job in Jacksonville.

Still we will always have this play

Don’t cry because it’s over smile bcause it happened
